COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, is not just a political figure; he’s also a fashion icon! In a recent interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV, Atwoli revealed his fashion secrets, sharing his penchant for international styles.
During the interview, Atwoli donned a striking black and white striped two-piece outfit, catching the eye of a curious fan who wanted to know more about his fashion choices.
Atwoli disclosed that he collaborates with fashion designers from Geneva and Nigeria, highlighting the global influence in his wardrobe.
“I work with fashion designers in Geneva and Nigeria,” Atwoli explained.
“Most of my fabrics come from Nigeria. This particular outfit was designed by my grandson, who lives in the US.”
Atwoli went on to share details about his tailor in Nigeria, Mr. Okoli, who crafts his signature oversized linen shirts.
The COTU Secretary General also proudly displayed his initials engraved on his Geneva-made linen shirt.
“Eh, but do you see,” An impressed Jeff Koinange remarked.
Atwoli emphasized that his fashion choices are not about flaunting wealth but reflect his global engagements. “It is not because I have money, it is because I am working there,” he explained.
The COTU Secretary General further clarified his schedule, revealing that he spends three months of the year in Geneva, Switzerland.
“It is very well known in this country that the months of March, June, and November, I am in Geneva,” Atwoli shared, shedding light on his international commitments.
