Local artist Stevo Simple Boy left fans concerned after he fainted while live on stage during Citizen TV’s 10over10 show. He was talking to the show’s host Azeezah Hashim when he appeared weak, holding onto his knees for support and then collapsed.
Time seemed to stand after Stevo Simple Boy fainted as fans present at the studio momentarily froze.
Luckily, the artist was taken backstage for medical attention, and that he felt better. 10over10 host Azeezah Hashim indicated that the heat inside the studio may have affected Simple Boy, causing him to faint.
She stated, “He was here and he was not feeling very well. We have so many lights and it is also hot because of the energy but we want you to know that he is feeling very well now. Thank you for showing him concern,”
On a phone call with the host, Stevo Simple assured his fans that he was feeling fine, as he thanked them for their support.
“I am doing okay. I want to thank everyone for the support they have given me and I will be updating you guys very soon,”
He said.

Stevo Simple Boy Stressed
After fainting on stage, Stevo SImple Boy appeared stressed as he implored his manager to return so they may work together. The artist from Kibera hinted at a disagreement with his manager, expressing that he fainted as a result of stress.
Stevo Simple Boy wrote on his InstaStory, “Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa nguvu. Watu wasitukosanishe. Stress inanipiga mpaka naanguka kwa stage nikiperform. Mnataka kuniharibia mpaka manager,”
Director Trevor Steps in
Director Trevor is willing to help Stevo Simple Boy explain to his fans what happened when he fainted on stage through the artist’s YouTube page.
The Kenya Online Media founder stated, “I am willing to support him fully and take the initiative to manage his content creation career. Stevo Simple Boy will begin by explaining what transpired yesterday and the events that followed the incident in length on his YouTube platform.”
The announcement comes amidst Director Trevor’s intention to help Stevo Simple Boy, who often struggles financially, to explore content creation to diversify his income streams.
For example, in June 2023, Stevo Simple Boy’s then-wife, Grace, went online appealing for help as the artist was struggling to make ends meet.
“Despite garnering widespread acclaim for his music, Stevo Simple Boy has faced ongoing challenges in sustaining himself within the music industry. Recognizing the need for alternative avenues, I see it as a strategic decision for him to explore content creation as a means to generate income and connect with his audience in new and innovative ways.”
