It seems that Zubeidah Kananu may have a new romantic interest! Speculation is rife after she recently shared an Instagram post, posing all smiles alongside Gabriel Kemei, whom she affectionately referred to as “my personal person” as she gushed over his height.

Zubeidah Kananu was previously married to Koome Maingi. The couple had two children before things took a turn when Edgar Obare brought the spotlight on Koome for alleged infidelity.
In a rendezvous exposed by BNN, Koome Maingi spirited away Instagram model Bernice Nunah to catch the World Cup in Qatar. All the pictures available on BNN Premium.
The timing could not have been worse, as Zubeidah was going through a difficult period, mourning the loss of her mother- Mama Mary Halima Raibuni, who was interred on December 3, 2022.
Koome Maingi and Bernice Nunah were again spotted by BNN paparazzi at an airport in Malindi where they vacationed.
Despite the personal challenges, Zubeidah has thrived professionally, and is currently serving as the first female president of the Kenya Editors Guild (KEG). Add a new man to the mix, and Zubeidah Kananu is clearly not letting life’s twists and turns stop her.
