Video director and social media expert, Director Trevor, has officially announced the rebranding of the popular ‘Mungai Eve’ Media to ‘Kenya Online Media.’ He has also ended Mungai Eve’s contributions, citing that “her services are no longer needed.”
Director Trevor, whose real name is Monyancha Kebati, shared the announcement through an Instagram stories update.
In a Question-and-Answer segment, a fan asked, “So does it mean you are no longer working with Eve Mungai?” to which Director Trevor replied with a resounding “Yes.”
The shift impacts the ‘Mungai Eve’ YouTube channel established on January 2, 2020, with over 2,300 videos and 754,000 subscribers. The rebranding also extends to Facebook with at least 874,000 subscribers and Insta-Fame, boasting over 104,000 subscribers.

These changes come amid reports of a breakup between Director Trevor and his longtime girlfriend and co-creator, Mungai Eve, a romantic relationship that spanned over five years. The duo, working collaboratively, successfully built Mungai Eve Media a strong online presence by creating content that resonated with a broad audience.
Rumors surrounding the breakup gained momentum after an exposé on BNN Premium uncovered allegations of infidelity on the part of Director Trevor. In a desperate attempt to defend himself, he revealed that the lady he was involved with had an obsession with Mungai Eve, even going as far as imitating her style. Amid the controversy, Mungai Eve, currently on a solo vacation in Zanzibar, has yet to respond to these allegations. The public remains eager to hear her side of the story and whether the breakup will have any impact on her individual career in the online media space.
