Rapper 50 Cent reacted to court documents naming his ex, Daphne Joy and his rival Sean Diddy Combs in a paid sex scandal. 50 Cent and Daphne Joy dated from 2011 to 2012 and have a 12-year-old son named Sire.
Daphne Joy was named in music Producer Lil Rod’s $30 million lawsuit against Diddy, 54, for allegedly receiving regular payments in exchange for sexual services.
City Girls rapper Caresha Romeka Brownlee, aka Yung Miami was also implicated. Lil Rod is accusing Diddy of sex trafficking women. And of sexual assault between September 2022 to November 2023 when they worked together.
50 Cent reacted to Rodney’s accusations with a post on Instagram on Wednesday, apparently directed at Joy. He wrote, “I did not know you were a sex worker, you little sex worker, LOL. This is like a movie.”
In the wake of the accusations, 50 Cent is reportedly seeking sole custody of the son he shares with Joy.
50 Cent’s Babymama Responds
On Thursday, Dapne Joy refuted the accusations on Instagram, stating, “I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination.”
She also announced her plan to seek legal recourse against Lil Rod, adding, “I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies.”
