Former Tahidi High actor Ephy Saint and vlogger Chantelle Petit have a strained co-parenting relationship involving their five-year-old daughter Ella Summer. Ephy Saint recently uploaded a video on social media capturing their spat, which he sarcastically captioned, “This is what I get to deal with, please do not get children with toxic men like me.”

In the video, Chantelle Petit is seen holding a matchbox and lighting it, attempting to set a piece of paper on fire while seated in the backseat of the car, seemingly trying to set the vehicle on fire. An incensed Ephy Saint, recording the video, can be heard saying, “Let her burn it. Let her burn it all. What is this? What is she doing?”

Several women in the background can be heard urging the The Chop Down podcast host to calm down.

Clearly, the conflict is not an isolated incident, as Ephy Saint implies to the women that Chantelle Petit has hit him several times in the presence of his daughter. He questions, “Amenigonga hapa mara ngapi mtoi akiwa?”

He further complains that his babymama does not listen to him, making co-parenting difficult. Yet, their daughter is not his only child. The model says, “I have tried to raise the child with this woman but she does not want to hear me out. And I have other children with other people.”

So, what triggered the latest disagreement? According to Ephy Saint, the source of contention is their daughter’s education. Allegedly, Chantelle chose a school that he could not afford. Subsequently, she prevented Ephy Saint from seeing or communicating with their child.

“It got to a point where she said, ‘Oh, I am taking the child to this school.’ But I may not afford this school. I tell her, let us find a school that is affordable, where the child can go. She says no, I will do it myself. She does it and then she keeps me away from the child. I cannot see the child; I cannot talk to the child.”

Ephy Saint and Chantelle Petit Breakup

Ephy Saint and Chantelle Petit were once in a relationship but broke up in 2018, at a time when Chantelle Petit was pregnant. What caused the breakup?

In 2019, Chantelle Petit took to her Instagram stories and accused Saint Ephy of emotional abuse, labeling him a pathological liar who has hurt many women. She shared her struggle to end the toxic relationship while being pregnant, citing emotional abuse and manipulation.

In response, Ephy Saint did not address the accusations but apologized for any hurt he may have caused anyone. The photographer claimed to be on a different path, emphasizing his commitment to fatherhood, especially since he grew up without a father figure in his life.

Notably, Chantelle Petit faced a challenging childbirth, enduring prolonged labor as documented on YouTube. This led to complications, including a fistula that required four surgeries for her treatment. Additionally, the baby experienced birth asphyxia due to a lack of oxygen.

Ephy Saint Defends Actions

However, Saint later went on his Instagram stories to defend why he shared the video of their spat online, stating, “The only safe way to get out of a situation with a babe is to either record and put it online because she might go tell her own story, and I was not ready to lose my character again. Am sorry.”

He further justified his actions claiming that his actions were not to hurt anybody, but that he hoped someone would learn from his bad co-parenting experience.

“I’m not here to hurt anyone, I just here to try and experience life and build a family. So it’s sad you guys get to see this side of co-parenting and I hope you learn from it coz I am learning something from this,”
