Musician, Karun, is flying the Kenyan flag high upon her feature on ColorsXStudios. In collaboration with Spotify, ColorsxStudios is putting the spotlight on Kenyan R&B with six exclusive “A Colors Show” performances.

Each performance features a different artist. Karun is the third Kenyan artist presenting their unreleased tracks on the iconic COLORS stage. She follows Xenia Manasseh and Lisa Oduor. Her inclusion is a testament to her talent and commitment as an independent artist.

The singer and songwriter performed “Only You” on the platform. She was simply grateful to ColorsxStudios and SpotifyAfrica for showcasing her talent.

Thank you @colorsxstudios x @spotifyafrica”

She simply stated.

Karun’s Musical Journey

Karun on stage

Karun, is no stranger to fame. So famous was she that in 2013, the then President Uhuru Kenyatta attended her listening party at Muthaiga. As a teenager, she was a member of BET-nominated Camp Mulla. But, she went solo when the group broke up. Arguably, Karun has the most successful singing career out of her old bandmates- Mykie Tooni, Shappaman (previously Young Kass) and Taio (Taio Tripper), and Kus Ma.
