Team Veterans have had considerable success with their music in east side. The duo come from a large group of the same name, Team Veterans, which from a video interview they admitted that they (alisaid_004 thee great and mayor_pam) came up with the name. Presently, Team Veterans are the only members representing the larger Madiwa Estate group.
With two albums out already; Mali True 1 and 2 out, Team Veterans tell the story of the dancehall scenes through its own medium of song, social media posts and music videos. Team Veterans conduct their audio recordings at Madiwa Studios which they happily praised it for helping them and giving the opportunity to write and share the music with their fans.
Thanks to their hardwork the duo have ended up being signed at Black Market Records ready to write and produce music, help edit and distribute their pieces too. They get to share their music with a wider range of fans due to the well established influence and connections the label has. This is a good move too since Team Veterans will have relationships with booking agents, music venues, and other music professionals. We’d also like to see them do collabos with our famous celebrity artists out there!
The dancehall artists consider this genre since it is very influential amongst the youth, specifically from the east side. They are entertainers, so why not venture into something that is captivating, relatable and entertaining.
