Upcoming socialite Shakilla has threatened to sue YouTuber Vincent Mboya for defamation following his comments on her relationship status.
It all started when Shakilla, who reently jetted back from South Africa, declared that she is single, making it clear that she was not romantically involved with anyone.
She wrote on her InstaStories, “I’m single let no one claim that I’m theirs please,” followed by, “No time for healing, take the next flight and go be with the man who deserves you.”
Vincent Mboya, notorious for his clout chasing tactics to remain relevant, declared his interest in Shakilla, albeit in a backhanded way. He wrote, “Dear Shakilla, I see you single guess who is single too ? Am young rich and famous. Kindly let me know where you at I come for you ASAP. Am currently flying out of Canada for some business meetings but I can pass by where you at when am done, I spoil you sakamoniously! It’s been a while since I ate Street food and I don’t mind going back,“
Mboya, who is based in Canada, allegedly seeking asylum after being slapped with a rape and assault lawsuit also made disparaging remarks about Shakilla’s past, suggesting that she had been with an excessive number of men.
He wrote, “Someone has told me you have been with 428 men but honestly I do not mind being the 429th man. Another thing, you are fit to be mine because you really have experience with men both locally and Internationally. Shakie baby!”
Shakilla Fires Back
Unsurprisingly, Shakilla did not take kindly to Mboya’s comments and swiftly fired back with a legal threat.
An angry Shakilla warned Mboya of an impending defamation lawsuit, stating, “When that defamation lawsuit hits you, do not tell your fans to help you fundraise.”
Shakilla said she would make an example out of Mboya, who interferes in people’s lives to boost his own career, which she found unacceptable.
She wrote, “Mboya will be an example to the rest. You cannot be putting your stinking mouth in everyone’s business to revive your dead career.”
