Digital Content Creator Pritty Vishy has opened up to Oga Obinna about the challenges she had growing up. An emotional Pritty Vishy said she views herself as unattractive, a fact that left Oga Obinna speechless, an uncommon thing.
She said, “I am ugly! Why should the guy leave his girlfriend and come to me? Like, what do I have to offer? I am ugly,”
“You are ugly?” A baffled Oga Obinna asked. “What shows you are ugly? Like why would you say you are ugly?”.
And an emotional Pritty Vishy reiterated, “I’m just ugly, I even feel like crying.”
Pritty Vishy also talked about being bullied growing up because she had a bad dental arrangement, which earned her the nickname ‘vampire.’
The 22 year old also mentioned feeling isolated during childhood due to being overweight.
And that she sat on the floor at school because none of her classmates wanted to sit with her, leading to a lack of friends and ongoing feelings of rejection.
“I used to sit down on the floor at the back of the class while others sat down on desks at school, because I was fat. No kid wanted to sit with me. Neighbors kids did not want to play with me. I used to isolate myself. Till now I do not have friends because I feel undeserving. i have faced so much rejection.”
Pritty Vishy shared.
Pritty Vishy Details Father’s Abuse
Pritty Vishy did not have a rosy home life either.
She said her stepfather sexually abused her when she was in class three. And that she did not take any action because he threatened her.
A tearful Pritty Vishy stated, “I did nothing because he threatened to kill me if I told my mom. And as a kid I used to cry because I was scared.”
To escape the abuse, Pritty Vishy often ran away from home and went to her grandmother’s. But one day, when she returned, her mother beat her. And that is when Pritty Vishy told opened up on the abuse.
Pritty Vishy, however, clarified that she prefers her stepfather to her biological dad, whom she despises. She explained, “I hate my biological dad because he cheated on my mom in front of me with my auntie, like undressing in front of me.”
Despite her stepfather never apologizing for the sexual abuse she endured, Pritty maintains contact with him. She still discusses the abuse even though her stepfather forbade her.
