Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale through his lawyer Danstan Omari has gone after Cleophas Shimanyula alias Toto after the latter made defamatory remarks alleging that the Senator played a hand in the death of his bull caretaker Kizito Moi. But, it turned out that the bull caretaker passed away from injuries inflicted by the bull’s horns.
The Senator demanded for Sh200million and that Toto apologize within two days, failure to which Boni Khalwale will file a suit for half a billion.
“Today at the High Court of Kenya, we have given Cleophas Shimanyula Toto 48 hours, within which he should tender an apology for defamatory allegations against me & pay a compensation of Ksh 200 million. Failing which he will face a suit of Ksh. 500 million in the High Court.”
Boni Khakwake stated on X.
Boni Khalwale’s Supportive Family
During the burial ceremony of his bull caretaker, Kizito Moi, Boni Khalwale reflected on the support he received from his family, including his three wives Josephine Umina Khalwale, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, and Diana Moragwa Khalwale and sons. The family stood united to mourn Kizito Moi, offering each other strength and solidarity.
“We’ve held hands together with my wives (Josephine Umina Khalwale, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale & Diana Moragwa Khalwale) and my sons (Steven Kapten Khalwale, Tigana Khachuma Khalwale, & Sonister Timboi Khalwale) during the last 10 difficult days.”
The Senator revealed.
Four Wives, Seventeen Children
Dr. Boni Khalwale also revealed that he had four wives, though the first- Adelaide Khalwale passed away five years ago.
“The wives I have are specific and as follows: Adelaide Khalwale, who died five years ago, is the mother of my first three children. All are copyrights of mine; there are no doubts about their paternity.”
He shared.
His four wives bore him 17 children, three for each wife except for the third wife who has eight children.
“Josephine Umina Khalwale, mother of three of my children; one has completed university; the other two are in university now. The third one is Gloria Khalwale. She is the mother of eight of my children; some are at the university, and others are at lower levels of education. Their paternity has never been in doubt.“
The Senator said.
