Love stories often take unexpected twists and turns, and Rachel Mbuki’s journey is no exception. Recently, the former Miss Universe Kenya took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news of her reunion with husband Dmitry Litvishkova, along with the joyous celebration of their wedding anniversary. In a simple yet powerful Instagram post, Rachel Mbuki expressed her happiness and love with the words,

“Happy wedding anniversary to us ”

She wrote

The Separation

Absence, as they say, makes the heart grow fonder. The couple only separated for seven months. Initially, Ms. Mbuki announced the divorce in March 2023 via Instagram.

“It is with much regret that I announce that my husband and I have come to the tough decision to end our marriage. We are currently separated, and I am filing for divorce,”Ms. Rachel stated

Interestingly, just before Ms. Mbuki filed for divorce, Dmitry gifted her a multi-million Porsche Cayenne. An apology gift perhaps?

Double Blessings

Besides the reunion with her husband, Ms. Mbuki expressed her excitement and gratitude for her first American national TV appearance as a TV host and entertainment journalist, thanks to TMZ. She also shared her delight at receiving a compliment from Harvey, the TMZ boss, on her first day of hosting.

“So incredibly blessed and humbled to have had my first American national TV appearance as a TV Host/ entertainment journalist the other day. Actually, my first was as Miss Kenya at Miss Universe but this is the one I’ve been working towards! Thank you so much @tmz_tv for the amazing opportunity. I guess it was also as good a time as any to finally say that my hubby and I reconciled as well . To top it off, getting a compliment from the big boss, Harvey, on my first day on the job is icing on the cake!”
