Gym trainer, Frankie Kiarie, and his former partner, Maureen Waititu, shocked netizens after they set aside their past disagreements to joyfully celebrate their son’s eighth birthday. Lexi’s party was an elaborate Sonic the Hedgehog-themed. The birthday boy’s excitement was palpable as he warmly embraced his father when he showed up for the special occasion. The two also wished Lexi a happy birthday on Instagram.
“Over the weekend we celebrated this Shujaa of ours. Happy 8th Birthday to my amazing Lexi! You bring endless joy and laughter into our lives. Here’s to another year of adventure and growth. We love you!”
Maureen and Frankie shared.
The birthday boy had a blast on the trampoline, sharing laughter and joy with his invited friends. He also enjoyed a game of EA FC24 on PlayStation 5 with his buddies. The live band delivered an outstanding performance, captivating both the kids and the adults at the lively celebration. Maureen wrote.
Earlier, the mother of two confirmed their recent foray into co-parenting, emphasizing their careful approach to not making it about themselves. She also expressed the kids’ happiness at spending time with their father.
“It (co-parenting) is good but very new to us. We recently started and I don’t know whether it is my place to say it. We have been very careful not to make it about us but yes, we are co-parenting.
“The kids are happy to be with their dad and I am happy to see them with their dad. The worst is behind us,”
She said
Maureen also emphasized on the importance of setting healthy boundaries for the safety of each others’ partners as well as for the co-parenting relationship to work.
The two had previously gone through a highly publicized and acrimonious split. Maureen had opened up on facing a hard time dealing with the messy breakup leading her to depression and suicidal thoughts. See article here.
