Love stories often have a unique way of unfolding, and the tale of Diana Marua and Bahati is no exception. The pair recently enjoyed a heartfelt ceremony to commemorate their traditional wedding on October 7, 2023. Diana Marua was thrilled with the date as the number seven stands for fulfillment. The Ruracio was the fifth out of a 7 gift series in commemoration of their 7th anniversary. Bahati shared the good news via Instagram. He wrote:

“It’s official!!! I have finally done @Diana_Marua Dowery payment and our dad Mzee Omach has blessed us to proceed with the wedding arrangements

Diana didn’t expect this but I was so eager to formalize our marriage before the official anniversary date this coming 25TH October… This was a surprise… gift no 5 the best so far.”

Diana’s Reaction

Diana Marua expressed her elation at the event adding that not many knew of her arduous journey of finding love. Apparently, Bahati came into her life at a time when she had been used, dumped, beaten up and heartbroken. She went on to say that while there were problems in their relationship, the couple persevered by working very hard. Diana expressed her gratitude to her partner for teaching her the value of maintaining a family and standing by each other even in the face of opposition.

How Bahati met his wife

Bahati also took to Instagram to thank former tv host Tracy Wanjiru. He thanked Tracy because she did not agree to star in his video, and he chose Diana instead. Bahati wrote:

“How I met my wife. I had written my first love song as agospel artist and the girl I wanted to appear on the video declined my offer. That was the former NTV Republik host Tracy Wanjiru… I think she was the only beautiful girl I knew then manze sikua na connections. Later I remembered of a queen who had liked a picture of mine on Instagram. I had never met her, I reached out to @Diana Marua just like any other video vixen. Little did I know that I was looking at my wife-to-be.”
