Vijana Barubaru.

Tiktok sensations Tuku Kantu and Mwana wa Wambui (Vijana Barubaru), composers of the hit song 'Sasa Hivi' say that the song is a true story inspired by the latter's relationship with his girlfriend. Having dedicated Tuesdays for songwriting, the duo met and brainstormed about which song to write. "We were both in good moods and we wanted to do a feel good song as we enjoy the moment while it lasted but Tutu said we change the topic to ladies, and changing we did," Mwana wa Wambui says. Adding that the song and all other compositions were informed by their true story, Mwana wa Wambui shares, "We have this style of writing in which we write the first stanza test and listen.
